The GBF – Gokongwei Brothers Foundation Scholarship is now open to apply for AY 2025 to 2026, All the eligible and aspiring students are now welcome to apply for the Scholarship Program

Teach STEM Scholarship is mainly aimed to support individuals who wish to pursue a career in a teaching science, technology, Engineering and Mathematics, STEM Subjects.

The Scholarship is offered by various organizations, Universities and Government Programs to encourage highly skilled individuals to join the teaching Professions.

What is Gokongwei Brothers Foundation?

The GBF is one of the largest organization in the Philippines country, establish in the year 1992 by the GoKongwei Family. Helps to contribute the development of the nation by empowering individuals through education.

Gokongwei Brothers Foundation focuses on initiatives that promote quality education, Particularly in: Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics in STEM, With the goal of building a Strong, Skilled and Competitive Filipino Workforce.

Types of Scholarship Program

There are Two types of Scholarship Program under GBF, as given Below:

1. TeachSTEM College Scholarship and
2. TeachSTEM Master’s Scholarship

TeachSTEM College Scholarship

What are the requirements to apply TeachSTEM College Scholarship

• Must have at-least 1 year of Teaching Experience and Currently teaching in a Public or Private Schools.
• Must be intent to teach as a K-12 Public School, Teaching of Science, Math or any STEM Related Courses.
• Must be in Model of teaching excellence
• Must be an incoming 1st Year or 2nd Year Student in Master’s Degree Programs.
• GWA – General Weighted Average of at least 2.0 or it’s equivalent form previously enrolled academic year.
• Good Moral Standing
• Scholars must be in need of financial support
• Must not have any other Scholarship Program

Documentary Requirements

• Fully Accomplished Online Application Form
• Must have a Proof of Enrollment
• Certified True copy of Grades form AY 2023 to 2024 or College Transcript of records (For 1st Year Masters Students)
• Must have Proof of Residence
• Other Documents if required

Benefits of TeachSTEM Scholarship Program

  • State University –  ₱65,000 Per Year.
  • Private University –  ₱85,000 Per year.
• Scholarship Grants are sent directly to scholars Bank Account.

  • Books Fees, Supplies, Living Expenses and
  • Conduct of research.

Teach STEM Master’s Scholarship

What are the Requirements to apply Teach STEM Master’s Scholarship:

• Must be at-least 1 Year of teaching experience and currently Teaching in a Public or Private schools.
• Must be intent to teach K-12 Public School, Teaching of Science, Math or Other STEM related Courses.
• Must be an incoming 1st year or 2nd Year Student in a Master’s Degree Programs in Education Specializing,
  • Science
  • Technology
  • Engineering
  • Mathematics and
  • Tech-Voc Training.
• GWA – General Weighted Averages of at lease 2.0 or it’s equivalent from the previously enrolled academic year:
  • Proof of Income
  • Good Moral Standing
  • They must be in Good Moral Standing
  • Must not have any other Ongoing Scholarship Program.

Documentary Requirements to apply

• 1st year Master’s Students – College Transcript of records.

Here are the list of benefits under TeachSTEM Master’s Scholarship Program:

• For State University of – ₱45,000/Year
• For Private University of – ₱65,000/Year
• Scholarship benefits are sent directly to the scholars Bank Account.
• Scholarship Benefits may be used for Educational Expenses like:
  • Tuition Fees
  • Books Fees
  • Living Expenses and
  • Conduct of Research

• The Deadline to Apply TeachSTEM Master’s Scholarship is on May 30, 2025.
